Holiday Inn Select Capitol Conference Center

We stayed during a very busy time of year, during the January Atlanta Mart. While the hotel advertised themselves as downtown, to attract business from the Mart, it is convenient only to the interstate and is a $12 cab ride from Atlanta's actual downtown. Another disappointment was that with the hotel close to full capacity, it was clear that there was not enough hot water for everyone, and if you were late getting in the shower, it ran cold. Otherwise, the basics were pretty much what you'd expect from a Holiday Inn. The room was comfortable, but not exceptional. Clean, but that is it. Awful food and location is too far from anything else, so once you are there it cost too much to go where the food is.

The hotel was conveniently located & had a free shuttle service to restaurants & attractions, which was very convenient. The hotel restaurant was terrible (both the food & the service). We had to go to the desk 3 times in 1 day to get our phone fixed. ...read more

Comfortable, spacious rooms with fresh, comfortable beds, and linens. Extremely helpful and accommodating staff. Nice on-site restaurant with practical menu. With a little more attention to the cleanliness of chair upholstery in the room this hotel could easily upgrade to 3.5 stars. ...read more

Its not what I would consider a 3 star hotel and the location is poor for people needing to be downtown.

This is an ok hotel. It just simply needs updating. Newer appliances in the rooms and around the premises would greatly help. Other than that this is a decent hotel at best.

I stayed at this hotel for the Chick-fil-a Bowl Game. We arrived on the 30th very early afternoon(before check-in) the staff was able to check us in early so that we would be able to rest up the the big game.
